Excellent guide in quality and content.

This is an excellent guide. On both fronts, for actual use or if you just enjoying collecting them. Well made, (strong binding) great artwork, stats on just about everything. I've posted some pics as well to help give you an idea of the guide itself. I've included a couple more pics, one more of the inside (no spoilers), and what the companion book is like.

This has more than enough to help you beat the witcher

[[VIDEOID:7c9dfb32009f6d4af6408430f0f9c75d]] So This guide book is absolutely amazing. The book itself is massive and has a beautiful hardcover which feels really thick and durable. It also comes with a cool little lore book which goes over the history of the world of the Witcher as well as some of the more important characters and people. It also comes with a code to get the eguide online which is also really nice. Now for the guide itself its a beast. It has just over 500 pages of pure awesomeness. The table of contents are as follows

1.Foreword
2.Intro and characters
3.How to use this guide
4.Training
5.Quest walkthrough
6.Atlas of the northern realms
7.Appendices and compendiums
8.Art of the Witcher 3

1.So the foreword basically talks about the guide and is 1 page.
2.The intro and characters covers the different characters both good and bad and is 8 pages.
3.The how to use this guide basically tells you what page each quest can be found on and is 4 pages.
4.The training goes over the hud and different transportation like running, horse, boat and so on. Then it goes over potions, bombs, shops and the economy, the equipment, combat, and character development. This takes 38 pages.
5.And then there's the quests which take a whooping 320 pages of the guide. It covers all the quests and tells you which pieces of dialogue will have major impacts and which ones don't matter as much. It tells you the item you get with each quest as well, where to start the quest, and recommended items and such. It breaks up nicely into sections so that all the main quests are together and then the secondary ones, then the contracts, Qwent quests, heroes pursuits, treasure hunts, and then how to get each certain ending.
6.The atlas is 66 pages and goes over the entire world and shows points of interest, quest locations, merchants, chests, and dungeons.
7.Then the appendices is 50 pages that goes over the enemies and what each one drops and where to find them and what their weaknesses are. It also gives some suggestions on how to attack them. Then it goes over where to find in game things like the Qwent cards and trophy guide. Finally it covers the weapons and armor and tell the damage, quality, and other stats. Also it goes into the crafting and herbs.
8.Finally the art section is 32 pages of awesomeness. The art is beautiful and mostly is about the environment but has a few character pieces as well.

So there you have it, this monster of a guide is absolutely amazing and will definitely help you get through the Witcher faster than it would have taken you. The lore book is a cool little bonus for those of you that care about the history and such. The guide itself covers everything and the art section is just stunning. Overall this book is a work of art itself and I highly recommend it for any Witcher fan out there.

The greatest guide I have ever laid eyes on

In short, this is the best guide I've ever seen in my 35 years (25 of which have been spent gaming). The quality is simply outstanding, with a durable cover, superior binding, rich colors, thick pages, and crisp text. In terms of content, this thing is loaded beyond all reckoning - you'll probably never read the entire thing (it's over 500 pages!), but everything's in there if you need it. In addition to comprehensive quest directives, glossarys, and guides to crafting, I particularly enjoy all the supplemental stuff that covers the many characters of the series. As a newcomer to the Witcher, I found this most useful and interesting. As a final bonus, there's an awesome smaller book (about 90 pages, I think) that is included. It features unique binding and a bunch of additional content to further flesh out the universe of the Witcher. Even if you don't think you want to use the guide to help you with the game, I would recommend this book to anybody who is a fan and wants to get even more out of the Wild Hunt experience.

Mark Shaw has been a copywriter for 20 years, starting out as an advertising agency writer before freelancing for marketing departments. In 1995, he incorporated graphic design into his business, creating Jupiter Design, one of the UK's top 25 design agencies. Neat simple textbook for entrepreneurs and small business owners who are responsible for a myriad of copywriting activities.

I liked this textbook. I found it to be well outlined and well written. It has an introduction, eight chapters, and an appendix that provides options for further reading. If you are interested in creative writing as it applies to business (ad copy, Web site copy, direct marketing copy, newsletter copy, etc), then you will find this to be an excellent book to read and work through.

Except for the first two wonderful chapters, each chapter included two interviews and two case studies. I found these chapters to be very helpful in covering different aspects of business creative writing. Also included were good checklists, exercises, and roundups.

I would have liked the book better if the text fonts were a little larger and not nearly as thin. As a result of what I was provided it took me a little longer to read this book than it should have. It was hard to sail through this book because of the type fonts. Also, I didn't find the appendix material to be very impressive.

But the book provides valuable insights into copywriting and I honestly believe any entrepreneur or small business owner would do themselves a favor to get a copy of this book in order to help them make their copywriting better which will make more things happen for their businesses. 5 stars!

Helpful pointers for copywriters

I read this book a while ago. I liked it because of the following reasons:

1. actual, helpful tips for someone who wants to get going as a copywriter, in stead of 'sage advice', which provides inspiring quotes but not much actual technique. I'm looking at you, Saatchi, with your 'brutal simplicity of thought' or you, Arden, with your 'It's not how good you are, .. '

2. It has great case studies and interviews with industry leaders, providing practical applications and examples of the tools discussed.

3. It has exercises. Writing is a matter of exercising your pen - you learn it best by doing it, not reading about it. The exercises are simple, but effective.

All in all, a good, useful book. If you're doubting between this book and something Saatchi or Arden wrote, take this one.

This book is a very hands on guide to getting in the right headspace for copywriting. I'm a jack of all trades when it comes to media production but I've been looking to hone my skills. This book is all of the information I could have needed and it is very well written. I recommend this book to anyone novice or seasoned professional alike.

Great Insights into Balancing the Chakras

Throughout her min-e-book™, Michelle Hastie teaches how each energy center shares wisdom that correlates with your mental and emotional states and how that wisdom manifests in the physical body. And she explains how to tune into the chakras to find paths back to living naturally, freely and peacefully.

Michelle recommends small daily changes that can lead to dramatic results. As she moves through the seven major chakras, she discusses the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual components of each, guiding the reader to understand how to get back into alignment.

Talking about diet and weight, Michelle zeros in on the body’s wisdom, e.g., she says weight gain isn’t happening to you, but for you. Michelle Hastie is an enthusiastic and welcoming voice that makes you feel like her words were written just for you. Michelle gives readers specific yoga positions and the knowledge to get in touch with their chakras and begin healing their chakras thus beginning a better body well-being. Recipes to nourish every chakra are provided by Satiated Soul Coach, Maria Schonder, that are fresh and easy to make. Elizabeth Harper, Sealed With Love founder, wrote the Foreword that includes a chakra connecting exercise that will appeal to everyone. I highly recommend this book!!

Victor S Yeung, MSc (MIT), CFA, CIMA Adv Dip MA, MHKSI, is the Chief Investment Officer of Admiral Investment Limited, where he oversees the firm's operations. Before Admiral, Mr. Yeung was Managing Director, Asia Pacific Securities for LaSalle Investment Management, where he helped manage the Asia Pacific portion of the USD 10 billion Global Real Estate Securities program. Before LaSalle, Mr. Yeung was a research analyst with Morgan Stanley and a risk underwriter with American Express. From the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mr. Yeung received three bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Management, and Political Science and a master's degree in Political Science. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds the Advanced Diploma in Managerial Accounting with the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting. Mr. Yeung is a frequent guest speaker at real estate conferences around the region, and he lectures for two industry organizations: Asia Pacific Real Estate Association and Hong Kong Securities Institute. Review by author of Relativity Demystified

This was one of the books assigned when I took general relativity in college. I found several of the chapters very enjoyable to read. D'Inverno does a great job getting into some of the fascinating physics that lies behind general relativity and its development, like Mach's principles and a great discussion of the equivalence principle. Much of the book is devoted to teaching you the mathematics, and it does so in a good fashion. He has two nice chapters on tensors with homework problems that are doable. One drawback was the book didn't have anything on Cartan's equations or discuss one forms (although he talks about contravariant and covariant vectors). The first half of the book is better than the second half, I found his chapters on special relativity excellent but felt his chapters on black holes and gravity waves were a bit lacking. In any case, I recommend it. Try beefing up your education by reading it along with Schutz so you get some exposure to one forms and all that.

D'Inverno provides a very solid introduction to the general theory of relativity, starting with a short review of the special theory and moving through tensor calculus, the field equations, and some applications. The best intro book on GR !!!

This is without any doubt the best book one can use for starting with GR: it is self contained, well written and moreover it is full of Physical insight. In brief: a great book. Even the introductory mathematical part (about tensor calculus) is great written: not too short and not too long. If one would like to gain an additional point of view about tensor calculus I'd recommend to compare the way followed by R. d'Inverno with that followed by Richtmyer "Principles of advanced mathematical Physics" vol 2 (the last all done in geodesic coordinates: this is a book on maths and not about GR!!). The level of Ray d'Inverno is at advanced undergraduate/1st year graduate: in fact one can find a lot of well discussed topics that are generally left out in other books on the subject. Of course this is not an advanced text like R. Wald or Hawking-Ellis, which are the right books if one wants to get a deeper insight in particular topics. The only fundamental thing R. d'Inverno lacks to treat in a fully way is the form of the Energy of the Gravitational field in GR and its related problems: no specific discussion about it. I think this is an important topic. A valuable (and probably the best) discussion about the latter can be found in L.D.Landau "Field Theory" book, or even in Sean Carroll "Spacetime and Geometry" book (a very good one, my favourite together with Landau and Ray d'Inverno), or you can also have a look about it into P. Dirac or Weinberg.

This book has 260 pages out of which 20 pages deal with growing peonies.
The part about "rooting tree-peonies from cuttings" is incomplete, the author just mentions
that he described the process in "another publication" ...
The book begins with chapters written in dead-botanese,
The book's nusually tiny print made me wonder if I'm going to go blind,
by the time I finished reading it.
